Statements from the Secretary of Education, Juan Carlos Flores Miramontes

“We must promote innovation, creativity, science, and technology from an early age. That’s why the Jalisco Ministry of Education is promoting the STEAM Challenge methodology, which children participate in throughout elementary and middle school. Today, what we are doing in high school fills us with pride.

Six years ago, we launched this challenge to invite high school students to identify a problem and find a solution. In the latest edition, held a week ago, 42,000 young people participated, along with researchers and entrepreneurs, and more than 2,000 projects were presented.” “A THOUSAND PROJECTS”.
