Elements of the National Guard (GN) recovered an invaded Federal zone in La Floresta, Ajijic. Based on the complaints from neighbors who expressed their disagreement with the presence of people who were taking over a public space, the Federal Government, through the National Guard in coordination with the Government of Chapala, recovered a space of approximately 1,200 meters squares.
Through a coordinated operation between the National Guard, elements of the Municipal Police and personnel from different areas with Chapala Government machinery, they carried out the maneuvers to recover the space used by residents and tourists.
According to information from the Municipal President of Chapala, Alejandro Aguirre Curiel, “the intervention was made to address the complaints and requests of the citizens to achieve a harmonious coexistence of both families and visitors to Chapala.”
