The magical town of Tlaquepaque will have road closures on the morning of Sunday, July 21st due to a half marathon, the Traffic Police reported.
The Tlaquepaque Half Marathon Against Addictions will start and finish at Pila Seca, beginning at 7:00 AM.
Runners will proceed towards Calzada Olímpica, then return via Marcelino García Barragán, continuing through Río Juárez, Niños Héroes Avenue, González Gallo Avenue, Delicias Avenue, Marcos Montero, Constitución, and Donato Guerra, before returning to Niños Héroes and finishing at Pila Seca.
The Traffic Police assured that the special operation for the half marathon will be from 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
The Police Department recommended following the officers’ instructions along the route, planning travel times in advance, and using the following alternate routes:
- Revolución Avenue
- Río Nilo
- Cristóbal de Oñate
- February 5th
- González Gallo
- Río Lagos, Río Ameca, Río La Paz, Herrera y Cairo, and Glendale streets.
