Guadalajara is now connected to Vancouver, Canada, with a direct flight from Guadalajara International Airport (GDL).
Flair Airlines inaugurated the new direct flight on Friday night, linking Guadalajara International Airport to Vancouver International Airport (YVR).
Passengers from Vancouver arrived in Guadalajara on the first non-stop flight of this route, warmly welcomed by a mariachi band.
With this new flight, Guadalajara becomes Flair Airlines’ fourth Mexican destination directly connecting to Canada, following Cancún (CUN), Puerto Vallarta (PVR), and Los Cabos (SJC).
Flight Schedule and Frequencies for Guadalajara – Vancouver Route
- Vancouver (YVR) to Guadalajara (GDL): Departure at 13:40 hours, Arrival at 19:50 hours on Mondays and Fridays.
- Guadalajara (GDL) to Vancouver (YVR): Departure at 20:35 hours, Arrival at 00:55 hours (+1) on Mondays and Fridays.
This inaugural non-stop flight from Vancouver to Guadalajara marks a significant milestone for our city. It fulfills a long-awaited connection with Vancouver, serving as the gateway to Canada for our passengers,” explained Martín Pablo Zazueta Chávez, Director of Guadalajara Airport.
The first passengers arriving on the non-stop flight from Vancouver to Guadalajara were greeted by a mariachi band. Notably, a new non-stop route from Guadalajara to Canada is expected to be added in September, this time connecting to Toronto with direct flights.
