They detailed that as of May 31, 2024, these flights will begin operations and with this they will become the first and only direct service that will connect Jalisco with Canada.
It should be noted that Canada represents 15 percent of the international tourism that enters the state of Jalisco, ranking second, after the United States.
The Migration Policy Unit reported that the number of visitors from that country to the Tapatia Pearl has increased by 84 percent in just one year.

It should be noted that this airline is considered low-cost, and the flight from Guadalajara to Vancouver will have two frequencies per week, corresponding to Mondays and Fridays, on a 737 MAX 8 aircraft with capacity for 189 seats.
With this new route, it is considered that the Guadalajara Airport is experiencing a positive increase in terms of destinations offered, since it currently has direct route connections with 27 international destinations and 29 national destinations.
