‘Sounds of the Lake’ in Chapala: Dates and tickets to enjoy this musical festival

Can you imagine attending a music event while enjoying the view of Lake Chapala? Sonidos del Lago is an event of international stature that aims to promote culture, connect with nature, and promote the visit to the largest lake in all of Mexico.

From March 24 to 25 of this year, national and international artists will meet at Lake Chapala to offer a unique experience where music and the lake will be the stars of an unforgettable afternoon.

Guest artists

The beautiful view of Lake Chapala will be enlivened by the music of various national and international artists, who will be in charge of making the attendees dance and enjoy this experience.

The artists that will be presented are: PoranguĆ­, Lagartijeando, Paloma del Cerro, Brenda McMorrow, Oceana Son, Mario Michelena, Marco & Mitzi, Kuicari, and finally, Ana & Dream Shala.

This festival will also feature a wide variety of amenities, drinks, and food to taste.

What can’t I enter?

Pets, food and drinks, drones, drugs or harmful substances, bicycles, skates, skateboards, aerosols, sharp weapons, glass containers and chains cannot be entered. It is also not allowed to enter the lake or camp at the venue.

People interested in attending this moonlight musical event on Lake Chapala will have to go to the official page of Sonidos del Lago and select the pass that best suits their needs and budget.

Couple pass: (includes two tickets and the two days of the festival)- 4,500 Mexican pesos.

Friday SL: (includes one ticket and access only on Friday, March 24)- 1,400 Mexican pesos.

Saturday SL: (includes one ticket and access only on Saturday, March 25)- 1,700 Mexican pesos.

General: (includes one ticket and the two days of the festival)- 3,100 Mexican pesos.

Workshop PoranguĆ­: If you already have your pass to attend the two days of the festival, you can complete your experience with the master class of this renowned multi-instrumentalist- 700 Mexican pesos.

The scenario will take place at Rancho de la Salud, on the Jocotepec-Chapala highway, Jalisco, Mexico. The duration of the event will be Friday, March 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and Saturday, March 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Since the venue does not allow attendees to camp or stay there, it is recommended to find accommodation in Ajijic, San Juan CosalĆ” and Chapala.
