“I am very pleased to be able to complete one of the great works in terms of road recovery, which we started last year. A very important effort because the Mascota-Puerto Vallarta highway was one of the most damaged in Jalisco, a work that was never properly maintained, a highway that was in high-risk operating conditions, very dangerous to travel and After this intervention, we finally have it as new ”, explained the president.
He said that the conditions in which this road section was previously generated that the travel time was greater; Today the journey from Mascota to Puerto Vallarta, passing through San Sebastián del Oeste and the community of Las Palmas, can be done in one hour and 15 minutes, approximately.

In Mascota, the Governor announced that this municipality will also be benefited with 4 million pesos from the Secretary’s Avery Machine Stoning Program destined to the repair of 12 deteriorated roads, located in communities that have not registered work for years. public.

In addition, a supervision tour of the construction of the new classroom and laboratory module of the José Mario Molina Pasquel y Henríquez de Mascota Technological Institute was carried out, whose investment is 10.27 million pesos.
The road, educational and health works are carried out by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Public Works (SIOP), while the paving program is the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER).
