PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico — A movie screening at a VIP cinema in Puerto Vallarta devolved into chaos after a foreign woman instigated a physical altercation, earning her the viral moniker “Lady Karateca” across social media.
Witnesses reported that the disturbance began during a high-profile film screening when the woman repeatedly disrupted the audience with loud outbursts and laughter. After several moviegoers requested that she keep quiet, the situation rapidly escalated into a heated verbal argument.
Video footage captured by an audience member shows the woman standing near the seating rows, shouting insults. Upon noticing she was being recorded, her aggression intensified as she launched high kicks toward spectators seated directly in front of her. A physical struggle ensued between the woman and angry theatergoers before staff intervened.
At least four security guards eventually stepped in to separate those involved and escort the aggressor out of the building to applause from relieved patrons.
