An afternoon of vacation ended in tragedy for a young foreign tourist, who lost his life after falling from the balcony of a room at the Hilton Hotel, located in the southern hotel zone of Puerto Vallarta.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon when the young man, barely 20 years old and originally from the state of Indiana, United States, was apparently under the influence of alcohol. According to preliminary information, the visitor lost his balance and fell from a height of approximately 10 meters, violently impacting the ground.
Hotel staff immediately notified authorities, reporting that a guest had fallen from the balcony of his room. Municipal Police officers responded to the scene along with firefighters. Upon examining the young man, they confirmed that he no longer showed vital signs and suffered severe head injuries.
