From July 15 to August 31, the cultural centers, libraries and various spaces of the Guadalajara City Hall will offer a variety of recreational activities and workshops for children and adolescents.
The traditional program of My Vacations in the Library will be held in 11 of the 13 libraries of the Guadalajara City Hall, in the Atlas, Centro, Colorines, El Sauz, Jardines Alcalde, Libertador Miguel Hidalgo, Lomas de Polanco, Monumental, Oblatos, San Andrés and Santa Cecilia neighborhoods, with recreational activities and reading promotion, as well as the workshops Explorers of Air and Space, the Super Power of Imagination, Stories and Gifts for Questioners, Al Aire Locutores de Lectura, and Entre Fichas, Dados y Canicas, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Various initiation and artistic training workshops will be offered at the Atlas, Colomos, Ex Hacienda de Oblatos, Luis Páez, San Andrés, San Diego, Santa Cecilia and La Ferro Cultural Centers from August 1 to 31.
Venues such as the Raúl Anguiano Art Museum will also have activities for the little ones. From July 22 to 26, this space will offer the Muralúdico workshop, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the aim of promoting, through play, different artistic skills.
In addition, the Instituto Cultural de Asistencia Social, located in the General Offices of the Guadalajara DIF System, will offer courses and workshops focused on the introduction to music and the arts for girls and boys from six to 12 years old.
Through these activities, participants will be able to develop new skills, as well as delve into the creation of artistic works on paper, musical appreciation, piano, guitar and violin classes.
The venues where these courses will be taught are the Comprehensive Care Center for Playful Children, in Colonia Moderna; the Child Care Center in Lomas del ParaÃso; the Community Development Center 22, in Colonia Artesanos; and the Community Development Center 13, located in Tetlán.
