Lou Lopez becomes the first Mexican to play in the WNBA


History has been made in the WNBA, with Lou Lopez becoming the first Mexican player to be selected in the draft.

It is a big step forward for Mexican women’s basketball to be breaking into the American game like this and she will be the first Mexican to play in the professional WNBA.

Lopez is a great NCAA college basketball prospect who has been selected by the Dallas Wings team with the fifth pick.

The news echoed throughout social media and was celebrated by all the fans of the sport in the country.

Lopez is originally from Guadalajara and she was born on May 12, 1998. Her mother is French and her father is Mexican.

She lived in Mexico for a few years before moving to France at the age of five after her parents divorced.

Lopez continued her studies in Europe and, in 2018, she started her basketball career when in high school as she played with the North Atlantic Academy team in Ireland.

Her rise came when she arrived in the United States after receiving several offers from universities offering scholarships to play for them in the NCAA tournaments.
