Iker Casillas pointed out that the Foundation has been running a social sports school in the town for more than a decade alongside La Caixa: “The summer camps are a key educational initiative aimed at the healthy use of leisure time, keeping children away from undesirable activities and promoting sport and a healthy life in the open air”.

The Mayor expressed his gratitude to the Real Madrid Foundation for its continued commitment: “We didn’t hesitate to collaborate with the Real Madrid Foundation again in organising this campus in the city as thanks to this initiative, which brings together sport and solidarity, we’ll be able to make dreams come true for boys and girls who would otherwise not be able to enjoy take part. I want to thank Real Madrid, la Caixa and Hercesa foundations for their continued confidence in this campus, which was already a success last year, and which we are sure will be a success again this year”.
