The Association of Tennis Players of the State of Oaxaca (ATEO) defined its calendar of activities for the 2021 state season and it consists of 20 tournaments, of which two will be professionals, and highlights are fair in Huatulco and Puerto Escondido, for a total of 21 activities .
The first contest of the year at sea level in this program will be the 16 Tangolunda Cup 2021, to be held from April 30 to May 2 at the Las Brisas hotel courts with an attractive prize bag in cash and kind.
But the activity of the ATEO will begin with the Affiliation Tournament 2021, from February 18 to 21 at the Brenamiel Tennis Club and the second contest of the year will be the State Children’s and Youth Tournament, from the 26 to 28 of the same month at the Club Deportivo Oaxaca.
The Brenamiel Tennis Club will host a Grade 2 Infant and Youth Tournament, from May 13 to 16.
The excitement of professional tennis will begin to be experienced with the Independence Cup from September 16 to 19 in Brenamiel.
And the emotion at sea level will return with the 23 Huatulco Cup from November 12 to 14 in Las Brisas, with competitions from the amateur and professional sector.
The president of the ATEO, Adolfo Martínez Barragán, indicated that “it is an ambitious calendar in light of sanitary conditions, a situation that is also expected to be 100 percent fulfilled, since everything will depend on the state health secretariat and in accordance with the epidemiological traffic light on each date of the respective event ”.
