This Saturday, January 16, they once again cordoned off and closed the public spaces of Puerto Vallarta, such as boardwalks, squares, and parks, complying with the provisions of the State Government, given the maximum risk of COVID-19 infections, until January 31.
The Puerto Vallarta boardwalk was partially closed, authorities put yellow ribbons on the promenade next to the beach and Los Arcos, but left the strip of the sidewalk and Díaz Ordaz street free, which allows access to clients and diners of the businesses of the area, which must close at 10 at night, to completely close the boardwalk at 23:00.
It should be noted that there are free spaces of monuments and emblematic points, such as El Faro, Maxiletras of Puerto Vallarta and Los Delfines fountain, where visitors continue to take the unmissable photographs.
The same happened in the Malecón of Marina Vallarta, which is cordoned off and prevents pedestrian passage next to the pier, but they left the corridor open to access restaurants and businesses, at established times.
Civil Protection once again cordoned off the other public spaces, to prevent citizens from gathering, such as the Plaza de Armas, Parque Hidalgo and Plaza Lázaro Cárdenas, the gardens and squares of El Pitillal, Las Juntas, Ixtapa and Las Palms
