Lake Chapala and Jocotepec exceed 100 cases of COVID-19; deaths increase in Ocotlán

According to the estimates of the General Directorate of Epidemiology, in Chapala, there are two active cases and in Jocotepec, five. So the most alarming situation continues to be Atotonilco El Alto, which has a total of 42 active cases of coronavirus and registers 294 cases, with this it is located in the first position of this jurisdiction with more assets, the second is for La Barca with 22 and the third is for Ocotlán with 20.

Regarding the municipalities with the most infections detected, the first position is for Ocotlán with 356, followed by La Barca with 334, and in third place is Atotonilco El Alto with 294. In total, in this jurisdiction, there are 1,672 accumulated cases according to Radar Jalisco.

While the list of deaths is led by Ocotlán with 43, followed by La Barca with 34, Atotonilco El Alto and Poncitlán with 8, Chapala and Jocotepec with 7, Jamay and Tizapán El Alto 4, Ayotlán, Degollado, Tototlán and Zapotlán del Rey 3, while Tuxcueca has one.

According to Radar Jalisco, in the State, there are 59,943 accumulated cases and 2,813 deaths of people with COVID-19. While in the country, according to the General Directorate of Epidemiology, there are 668 thousand 381 accumulated confirmed cases, of which 471 thousand 623 people have recovered and 70 thousand 821 have lost their lives.
