After the decree of the governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, of zero tolerance for people who go out into the street without a mask, elements of the state police killed a young man in Ixtlahuacán de Los Membrillos, on May 5.
A young man identified as Giovanni went out to dinner with his family, when they were walking on the public highway, elements of the police on board their trucks intercepted them.
Minutes later, and when resisting, Giovanni was attacked by ten policemen, he was beaten in different parts of the body, later he was taken to the police station.
Shortly after they took him away, his aunt managed to contact the municipal president of Ixtlahuacán Eduardo Cervantes Aguilar, who assured him that he could go to the police station the next day for his nephew, but when he went for him, he found the news that Giovanni was in serious condition at the Guadalajara Civil Hospital because ” the police went to far”
When they confirmed that he was dead, Christian related that Semefo personnel did not allow his aunt to see his brother’s body. Once they were outside, they opened the bag and observed that he was tortured and even had a bullet in his leg.
After this, he pointed out that Cervantes Aguilar, through a third party, offered his aunt 200,000 pesos so that they would not broadcast the video, although he also threatened to kill them if they did.
The medical opinion indicates that the death was from a traumatic brain injury on Tuesday, May 5 at 10:00 p.m.
