That our destination “The Pearl of the Pacific” occupies this designation, is a sign that things are being done well: Óscar Pérez Barros

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- According to studies carried out to know the cities that offer the best Quality of Life, which considers the feelings of the citizens of the capitals and most populated cities of our country, Mazatlán appears in the “top ten” of the first 10 with the best marks.
In an interview with Federico Birrueto, director of the Strategic Communication cabinet, in El Financiero, he cited that the indicators used to make the observations showed that the first site is for Mérida, Yucatán, followed by San Nicolás de los Garza and San Pedro Garza García in Monterrey, the city of Mazatlán, Sinaloa, appearing in the fourth position.
30,400 questionnaires were applied, in this case, 400 for each of the investigated cities, in which the northern municipalities proliferate with a better quality of life because there is a more positive attitude with more qualified authorities and better quality of services Birrueto added.

On this issue, the Secretary of Tourism Óscar Pérez Barros pointed out that obtaining such a place is the result of the actions that Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel has undertaken during his administration, causing greater dynamism in the activities that take place in the port, with the execution of infrastructure works that give a positive image to the city, and that has also been liked by its inhabitants and tourists, as shown by the surveys that were carried out.
One of those works will be the largest Aquarium in Latin America, which will be inaugurated in 2021.

Other cities that appear in the list released by Birrueto are: Saltillo, Coahuila; Chihuahua; Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas; Guadalupe, Nuevo Leon; Aguascalientes and Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
